Crime to develop capabilities, support research and 55 11
innovation, and foster knowledge and awareness
through scientific, training, academic, and security participants from countries
research activities. The center contributes to a more
informed security decision-making process in the fields 7
of drug control, psychotropic substances, organized
crime, forensic science, anti-corruption, economic presented by experts
and transnational crimes, and border control. It also
facilitates networking among regional expertise, and 5
drug and crime control centers, as well as among
international databases. Furthermore, it translates, from organizations
publishes, and disseminates UN reports, guidelines,
and policies related to crime and drug control.
